iPhone 13 randomly freezes/reboots every 15 minutes since 16.1.1 update

Since updating to iOS 16.1.1, my iPhone 13 (only 8 months since new purchase) randomly freezes and reboots. I have 70 gb of free space so I know that's not the issue.

I've been able to put the device in restore mode and reinstall the 16.1.1 update. I've manually updated all apps installed. But phone keeps crashing, with lots of full panic logs showing up in analytics.

the only thing that seems to help is to set the phone to low battery mode. That reduces the freezing incidences from every 15 minutes to every hour. My phone is still unusable as maps navigation causes the phone to freeze every 5-10 minutes. Phone calls exceeding 10 minutes also causes the phone to freeze.

I was oncall for my company and they required me to install a device management profile so that I could install their apps to monitor the network. I am a SWE at a big tech company, so I know the profile can be trusted. The caveat was that they needed ability to remotely wipe my phone if I reported it got stolen.

edit: my phone is back to crashing every hour with low battery mode on

It's more widely reported than I initially thought. A lot of people on Reddit and apple discussions forum have been reporting this for past 2 weeks. I am guessing more and more people are updating. I ordered a replacement phone (Android) since I can't use my phone reliably for work and travel. Will consider switching back to iPhone once this fiasco is over
