remove family sharing
the apple id used for my son on the family sharing is not valid and I need to remove it from family sharing. I do not want to use family sharing either. How do I do this?

Disband a family group
When the family organizer turns off Family Sharing, all family members are removed from the group at the same time. Before you can stop Family Sharing, you must transfer children under 13* to another family. Learn how to move a child to another Family Sharing group.
The article goes on to describe how to turn off Family Sharing from different devices. If your son's account was set up such that he is considered to be under 13 then you may need the assistance of Official Apple Support.
