I have MacOS High Sierra, Can I upgrade to latest operating System

An Early 2009 iMac can only go to 10.11.6, a Late 2009 iMac can go to 10.13.6

OK Great my friend, a couple of things you can do to make 10.13.6 work better...

Mostly you just need a more modern Browser than Safari on High Sierra like Firefox or Brave.
