Email stopped downloading on my Mac a week ago. They are still online. They still download on my iPhone. I have followed all the suggested fixes and everything is fine. Yet, they stopped downloading.

The current stable release of Ventura including bug fixes, security updates is macOS Ventura 13.0.1

Open mail app select Mail>Settings>Privacy disable:
“Protect Mail Activity” /
“Hide IP address” /
“Block all remote content”
compare your results and report back

—if you are using Hide My email—try disabling this feature if no resolve and compare your results...

What suggested fixes are you referring to? What happens when you attempt to send or receive emails? Do you receive any messages? Providing us with some information will enable us to analyze what is going on so we can offer some actions.
Have kept everything up to date. I put mail in safe mode then started it. Did this twice - it worked. Emails downloaded.
