Air tag not showing up.

My AirTag was synced with my phone a few months ago, but the. It started chirping and is not being detected by my phone or any other in find my. It also does not show up in my items. The battery is fine because it keeps chirping. Tried resetting, nothing.

Air Tag not detected When my airtag is near my phone, it doesn’t even recognize it or prompt me to connect with it but it’s detected on my sister’s phone. I’ve tried everything: checked my location settings, restarted my phone, disconnected the battery of the airtag, reset the airtag but replacing the battery 5 times, etc. but still nothing. Air Tag won't reset. So randomly both of my Air-tags stopped working with my phone. I assumed it was the batteries, until I read that it had been an issue others have had. I changed the batteries and they still didn't connect. I reset one, and straight away connected. (Yay) but the second won't. It says it's registered to my cell number (not apple id) which is still my cell number. So i have tried resetting the second lots of times. I have tried turning off the wifi, bluetooth and data off, and rebooting the phone as the community suggested. It's still not working. TLDR; Airtag is registered to my phone number, but won't connect or reset. Help, please?

AirTag will not connect I removed an air tag from Find my a while back. I tried reconnecting it and cannot. I have reset it (multiple times) changed the battery just in case but my iphone will not pick it up to connect. It is my air tag, purchased brand new a year ago. The other one I bought at the same time was never disconnected from Find my and is working fine. I even made sure my iphone software is up to date. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
