I had something come up on my old iPhone 12 saying that I had a virus on my phone and that I had to download something called defense ray to get rid of them does anyone know by chance if that is a legit app it also doubles as an ad blocker (my phone has not been jailbroken)

That was a scam message. A non-jailbroken phone cannot be hacked or get a virus.
