In Ventura it seems to be impossible to send a pages or numbers file as a pdf by email without saving it first. Does anyone know how this is done?
It used to be very simple through "export file" or the "share" button, but this isn't possible anymore.

No. Either you export as Word or other non-PDF formats and then manually attach to an email, or use AppleScript and Shortcuts as I have outlined for both Pages and Numbers v12.2.1 on Ventura to export and then automatically attach the exported format to the outgoing email.

have tried to comprehend what you were writing about this script and shortcut you’ve created. But I have to dig in to this to understand I guess. At least now I know I’m not the only one who’s slightly annoyed that this feature has been removed.
for now the cmd+p works fine. Thanks again for that.
In Pages, it is File menu > Print… > PDF > Send in Mail. No need to export it. Numbers is more involved.
You're correct. It has to be saved first in Ventura. Before you ask, no, I don't know why.
Learned something. Numbers seems to be only one extra step.

So pdf is possible now, but it also used to possible to send a pages file as a word document without saving. Do you also know if this is an option?
