m1 mac mini and second mac monitor

I have a mac mini M1 that I have two studio displays (one connected to USBc and the other connected to HDMI (With HDMI to USBc adaptor). The second monitor, connected using HDMI, was operating fine for several months. Now it is now flashing or dark. The monitor when flashing does display the correct information. I have switched out the monitors to connect to the other port and both monitors are functions fine. Other efforts that have failed to correct the problem include rebooting the mini and rebooting with various cables connected. The OS is Ventura 13.1. The problem is unrelated to any updates in software. Please advise.

Both Studio Displays need to be connected directly to Thunderbolt ports.

Sadly the M1 Mac mimi only supports one Display from a Thunderbolt port.
