Syncing from iPad Pro to other devices

I have a restaurant. I want to purchase an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil and use them for taking down handwritten reservations. I would need for the “handwritten reservation sheet” to sync across different devices (devices that are not connected to the same Apple ID) and also would need to be able to edit and add to to the “handwritten reservation sheet” from those different devices. The ability to add text to the document would be necessary because some would be adding information from iPhones and without an Apple Pencil. Of course I Would want it to update in real time. I’ve visited an Apple store and chatted at length with an Apple representative online with no real outcome on whether or not this is a possibility.

Are you sure handwritten is the route you want to go?

If so, take a look at Apple's new Freeform app. The latest iOS, iPadOS and macOS version are required. But, this is an open format document, allowing for nearly any type of content creation and supports collaboration.

Share Freeform boards and collaborate on iPhone - Apple Support (GW)

This will allow multiple devices with unique Apple IDs to collaborate on the same document. It supports multiple mode of input, including Apple Pencil and typed content. You might even be able to create a sort of template with times and table slots to allow them to filled in, sort of like a form. (please understand that Freeform was released just weeks ago so there is little time for anyone to be an expert.)

The beauty of this option is that it is free and included with the Apple devices. It is worth a shot to see if it can satisfy the workflow you've defined.

Please note, there are a large number of apps dedicated to restaurant and reservation management. When I see "handwritten" as the requirement, I get all jittery as no one has legible handwriting anymore.

Hope this helps.
