AirDrop stops working on Mac

Try NVRAM reset. That worked for me.

I will add AirDrop worked just fine between my iPhone and MacMini until the Ventura 13.1 update. This is the only change since AirDrop broke. I can identify each side of the transfer but it just shows waiting and nothing happens until it times out.

Same issue here, on all devices running Ventura 13.1. No Airdrop to Mac from iPhone/iPad or between Macs but Airdrop works if sending from iPhone/iPad to Mac. Also smb sharing doesn't work when sharing on Mac.

Try booting the Mac into Safe Mode to see if it makes a difference. If this works, then you most likely have some third party software installed which is interfering with the normal operation of macOS. Usual culprits are anti-virus apps, cleaning/optimizer apps, and third party security software...none of which are needed on a Mac.

I upgraded to 13.2 and the issue still persists. Has anyone reached out to Apple and if yes what did they say?

This may already be old news, but the following workaround fixed this AirDrop problem for me:

Toggle every AirDrop setting off/on; On Mac in System Settings, on iPhone/iPad in Settings/General. Do it several times. It will not take right away, keep going through the process if necessary.

I appreciated the note about OS 13.2, I updated which resolved my AirDrop issue. I am sorry that it did not fix yours.
