App is not writing to Applications folder

I am trying to install an application-- it is actually a game. When I run the installer it mounts but when trying to wrote to the Applications folder it stops an I get a permissions error: (System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path "/Applications/WGTGolf.app/)

I am logged into the Administrators profile. The developer says they have tested it on two MACs and cannot replicate the problem. I have MACOS Ver: 10.15.7. Any advice?

Goto the Applications folder and single select the WGT Golf app if it’s there, then press keys command i to get the files info.

if the Golf app is not in the Application folder, search for it, try dragging to the Application folder and try again
