Add to Home Screen

After I add an icon to the Home Screen as a short cut for a webpage on Safari,I can' t find the icon on any Home Screen. I can search for it in the library, but it doesn't appear as an icon on any Home Screen.

You can drag that icon out of the App Library and place it in one of your Home Screens.

You change the following setting so that next time the Safari webpage shortcut appears on your Home Screen. Open Settings ➡️ Home Screen ➡️ Newly Downloaded Apps: Here, checkmark on Add to Home Screen.
