iPod touch

im not sure what gen my iPod is but I’ve had it for a while now and it’s not updating past 9.3.5. Is that the highest update or is it just cuz I’m not on it much and it pretty much stays dead?

Click here and look it up. If it's a fifth generation model, yes; otherwise, describe what happens when you try to update it.
