headphones no longer work

Suddenly all wired headphones have stopped working. Three different pairs on three different iPhones, including a brand new 14 plus.

a pop up appears saying ‘is this lightning adapter connecting a pair of headphones’. It doesn’t matter whether you click Headphones or Other Device, no sound comes out.

Anyone else experienced or know how to fix? Thanks

Hello,

Try this:

1) Open the Control Center

2) Long press on the music controls

3) Select the output option (little up-arrow with circles)

4) Select headphones
