You can also tap on the select button, tap on all of the photos that you want to delete and then tap the trash can icon to delete them. If you want to batch delete photos quickly, select one photo, then on the photo next to that photo, swipe across and up the screen in order to batch select photos, then tap the trash icon to delete them.
