After some searching I almost find the answer on my question: How to get the sheet name in a cell... I found this helpful answer:

My sheet name is (i.e.) 2023-001
Since there is - (minus) in the sheet name the results will be '2023-001'
I don't wanna have the ' ' so instead of '2023-001' just 2023-001

So copying 1 on 1 your formula isn't working, and also replacing the , for ; in the formula isn't working...
The formula now used which is working but with the ' '
TEXTBEFORE(REFERENCE.NAME(;2);"::")
Try inserting the "en–dash" (somewhat shorter than the "em—dash") instead of the - minus operator.
On the Mac keyboard: Shift + Alt + Hyphen.
En–dash and em—dash are not considered as subtraction operators.

SGIII's formula works for me.
Did you copy/paste the formula from his post or retype it? If retyped, maybe the apostrophes in your formula are the "smart" kind and not the normal straight kind? I'm not sure how that would happen but I'm at a loss at the moment to explain its failure. Post a screenshot of the formula that is not working so we can see if there is an error in it and, if the cell is an error triangle, what is the error message.
You can try this:
=TEXTBETWEEN(REFERENCE.NAME(A2,2),"'","'")

The function TEXTBETWEEN suggested by SG provides the sheet name 2023-001 without ' ' on this computer.

I (wrongly) thought I did that (replacing the , for the ; but something was wrong).
Issue solved, very grateful!
Most likely I have made a typo, but copying the last formula from SG solved the issue. Thank you also for your response!
