Unable to update apps on Macbook as it won't let me change Apple ID

At one point I let my husband create a user on my MacBook. I'm the owner and administrator. I recently deleted his entire account on my MacBook. I'm signed in as me. My Apple ID is signed in everywhere, including in the App Store; however, when I go to update apps in the App Store, it asks me to sign in again, but his Apple ID is in the log in screen and grayed out and it won't let me change the Apple ID no matter what I do. I have rebooted, I have updated to the latest software. I have logged out of my Apple ID everywhere and back in and. no matter what, I still see his Apple ID and not mine and only in this location. Help please!

The means there are apps that were downloaded with his Apple ID requiring the update. Delete those Apps as they will forever be tied to his Apple ID and there's no way to change that.
