Wondering if you have listened to all the ringtones already installed on your iPhone:

where you are planning to download the ringtones from:

Eg: In Apple Support's article (link below):

You can scroll to: "Change your ringtone"

or to:

"Buy ringtones from the iTunes Store"

Use tones and ringtones with your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

In both cases you should be able to hear the ringtones before using / purchasing.
