If your work phone has the same Apple ID as your private iPhone, you will have to disable the Activation Lock at first. On that iPhone, go to Settings/Apple ID/ and disable "Find my".

After that, set it back to factory settings on your computer and use the new Apple ID to set it up.

Restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to factory settings

If your work phone is managed by your company, you might have restrictions set up by them, keeping your from doing that. In that case, ask them to disable the profile or restrictions.

Since apps are tied to the Apple ID that has been used to download them, you'll have to download all used apps again, using the new Apple ID.
