Iphone 13 - WIFI and BlueTooth Issues

Has anyone seen an issue with Iphone 13 IOS 16.2 randomly turning off WIFI and Bluetooth, cannot turn back on and have to restart phone to get them to work. Tried resetting network, and Router, but happens anywhere, at first seemed to be when I left the range of the router but is occurring more often and anywhere.

Hi there GregMexico,

You mentioned an issue with your iPhone Wi-Fi and Bluetooth randomly disconnecting. It appears you've worked through a few troubleshooting steps already. Let's work through some additional steps that could help this issue.

  1. Update your iOS to the latest version, 16.3: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
  2. Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi from Settings, not the Control Center
    1. Settings > Bluetooth
    2. Settings > Wi-Fi
  3. Test with another Wi-Fi network
  4. Test with multiple Bluetooth accessories
  5. Check for any possible interference: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference - Apple Support

Reply back with how it goes.

Best regards.

My wife’s iPhone 11 and iPad Pro 10.5 2017 both have random wifi disconnects and receive a pop up that WiFi is unavailable. All my other (newer) iOS devices stay connected and do not exhibit the behavior at all. The issues started with the arrival of iOS 16.3 on her devices. We tried executing “Reset all network settings” on both of her devices to no avail.

unlike you, it’s possible to reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network right after the pop up. We use an Aruba AP22 access point in line of sight, interference is not an issue given all other devices stay connected. I disabled wifi 6 on the AP to see if that helped, but no… it did not. The disconnects happen 2 sometimes 3 times a day.

Havent tried a full software iOS reset yet… as that is usually very inconvenient. Just wondering if anyone else has these issues? Maybe solved?
