Transfer iPhone 13 Pro Max and Warranty to Spouse. Xfr Account?

I am upgrading my phone and I understand I can transfer my IPhone 13 Pro Max and remaining warranty to my spouse. Read here in the community that I should transfer the "account" too. The thread was locked so I couldn't ask for clarification. What are they talking about? Transfer my Apple I.D.? That's not going to happen. Or are they recommending to do that so the warranty can be extended if desired?

I just want to transfer my current IPhone and remaining warranty to my spouse. What are the specifics of doing that? Thanks!

You will remove your Apple ID and erase the iPhone so she can set it up under her own Apple ID. What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Then, if they iPhone has AppleCare+ still you want to follow Transfer your AppleCare plan - Apple Support . If it's just the limited warranty there is nothing needed as the limited warranty follows the serial number.

Thanks for the reply. I know how to erase and unregister (find my phone etc) from the phone. But I wanted to make sure I didn't have to cancel any accounts as someone mentioned in another thread. I know phone come with limited warranties, which doesn't transfer to new owners, but we have an Applecare+ plan we didn't want to lose, and have the option to renew if possible.
