Is it possible for either my iPhone to be hacked, or my Apple ID to be compromised and a person download apps under my Apple ID? If so, would those apps show up on my phone even if this was done from a different device?

Ok thank you for the information. It appears my Apple ID has certainly been compromised and used on several dating apps. However, the part I can’t understand is why the apps are showing up on my device in my history as being downloaded, but I’ve never downloaded them.
Because they ARE apparently tied to YOUR AppleID.
