Pages files look different

What's happened to Pages? My files used to look like mini versions of page 1 so it was always easy to see what was I was opening. Now every new file, and every time I edit a file, all I see when I save and close the file is the orange Pages image. Very disconcerting as every file looks the same. I saw a reply to a previous comment about this problem that I should make sure that 'Show Icon Preview' is checked in the View Options for the folder. So I did and it is checked. How can I get my files to look as they did before?

Close your Pages document(s) that are open, quit Pages, and then reboot the Mac. When you have done that, does the Finder show the document icons as you expect?

I am using macOS Monterey 12.6.3 and Ventura 13.2.1, both with Pages v12.2.1 and do not have the document icon issue that you report.
