Unable to specify people I want to collaborate with using Pages.

I’m stuck, for some reason I can’t get to the point where Pages asks me to specify who I want to collaborate my Pages document with. iCloud is on and document loaded. I’ve made my Collaboration selections, but it doesn’t ask me who I want to share it with. I’ve tried opening email, but it still doesn’t ask. I’m using an iPad Pro with iOS 16.3.1. Any suggestions? Thanks, Rick
