I can’t find what in the apps section is taking up so much storage my phone won’t work properly

How do you clear apps usage ? Clear caches? Clear anything in apps storage that’s so full?

Hi, and welcome to the Apple (user-to-user) Community!

Seems it is always wise to first make a back-up of all your data before you delete anything. That way, you can recover whatever is needed, if you later find you need it.

Eg: back up to a computer.

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Apple support's online article can help you see what is using the storage:

How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

You can scroll to "Manage space on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch" in this article:

(ie: delete apps and content that you don't need, and use the recommendations.)

If you need more space for an update on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

To see the changed storage amount, you may need to restart your iPhone.

(Anything in "Recently Deleted" will still count)

All the best :-)
