Apple ID lock

I have a iPhone 7 Plus I had locked my iPhone along time ago on find my iPhone because I had lost it and I found it and I can’t remember my Apple ID and my password on my old phone and it says activation lock

activation lock is not a thing on the ipad it's a theft protection on apples servers

it needs to be removed How to remove
