what to do when sound is not working for texts iphone 8?
I am not getting sound when i receive a text on my iphone8. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Let's use the steps below to temporarily set a different alert sound to see if that behavior still persists:
1. Go to Settings> Sounds & Haptics (on supported models) or Sounds (other models).
2. Tap Text Tone, then do one of the following:
* Tap Vibration, then choose an option.
* Tap a sound below Alert Tones.

That may help isolate that behavior to a particular alert tone.
Should that still continue, do you still see the on-screen notification when you receive a new message?
