I've been having this problem with my mail app on MacOS (Ventura 13.2.1) where some of the email look as if they were selected or highlighted but I cannot undo it. I don't understand the order why some of them are "selected" while others aren't.
It look like this:
Do you have any ideas how I can fix it? Or is it a general bug and I should wait for the update? If so, where can I submit the bug?

It looks like you may be using Color-code on Mac Mail. Take a look at the article Color-code emails in Mail on Mac - Apple Support that's found in the Mail User Guide for Mac - Apple Support.
Do you see a banner when opening the email "This message is from a mailing list"? If so, see Unsubscribe from mailing lists in Mail on Mac - Apple Support.
