Yes if you want the HomePod audio for all tv. Your Samsung needs the HDMI ARC port though or don’t bother with it just for this.

What you need

  • Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or later)
  • HomePod or HomePod mini speakers
  • A TV that supports HDMI ARC or eARC
