Files app won’t download.

I offloaded my Files app to save space. Now I can’t download the app back into my 6th generation iPad. Can someone help?

There is NOT enough space to initiate the download or even function properly for that iPad at this time. I recommend that you free up at least 6GB - 8GB so that the iPad can carry on its tasks efficiently.

What happens when you attempt to download the Files app? Do you have enough free available space on your iPad to download and install the Files app?

Well, 31.6 of 32 Gb are used. The Files app only takes up 475 KB. So I would assume that’s enough space. When I tap the Files app, it darkens for a moment and then stops.
