I have to use my iPad Pro 11 with iPadOS16.3.1 in areas without WiFi.

I have to use my MacBook Pro a lot in areas without WiFi access. I disabled " Optimise Mac Storage " and have all my working files from iCloud on my MacBook Pro.

Now I bought an iPad Pro 11 inch 3rd Generation with 2TB storage and want to do the same with this iPad Pro ( iPadOS 16.3.1 ).

How can I do it please ?

Is it even possible ?

Your files will stay in the Files folder on your iPad, but will not have the little download icon attached anymore.

...

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Open the Files app.
  2. Go to the file that you want to store on your device.
  3. Tap the file to download it, or touch and hold the file, then choose Download .
  4. Any changes you make to the file will automatically upload to iCloud Drive when you're back online.
