Sync’d my Ipad with iCloud and all my notes written with Apple pencil disappeared. They were all in folders which also disappeared. Cannapplebprncil notes not be saved on icloud? Where did the files go? I'm have searched as instructed by help.
Notes can be synced to iCloud, regardless of whether you use an Apple Pencil or keyboard. Is this in the Notes app?
Yes, I am using the Notes app. I had not set up my iPad to synch with the cloud and had three months of handwritten notes from meetings. I decided to synch, and they all disappeared; they were not in the recently deleted folder or the recycle bin. They vanished. I have since changed some of the settings on notes synch and tested some handwritten notes, and they seem to be working synching now, but I have been unable to retrieve the notes I had on my Ipad before synching. I think they are gone permanently.
Apple pencil files are deleted when synced.
