Can I request refund for Super Duolingo

I would like to refund super Duolingo, I signed up for a free trial and I thought I was setup to bill monthly after but, today it billed me the yearly subscription. Does anyone know how I may go about doing this?

I followed the guide to refund here:

Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support

I tried to request a refund but it shows 'no eligible purchases for refund' I also used the other refund reason 'I didn't mean to buy this'.

I signed up for a free trial and intended to sub on a monthly basis but you can see it charged me today for 135.99. It's the 28th today, is there anyway to reverse it?

I already canceled the subscription as per duolingo's guide here

https://support.duolingo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004068123

Let me know if there's anything else that can be done?

Hey thanks; just hopping back in here with an update in case anyone else cant figure it out.

i checked back on the refund request page later and duolingo appeared automatically. If the subscription was just bought the same day, it might still be a pending charge and wont let you refund until the payment completes first.

Similar problem: accidentally signed for a free trial of Super Duolingo today: touched wrong bit of screen! It's SO easy to do and a miracle I didn't do it before.

I don't want to subscribe, don't even want a free trial, the basic version is fine for me. I've tried to unsubscribe via the App (no option to manage, let alone delete) and iPhone settings (no subscription shows). Wasted so much time trying.

I've opened an issue with Duolingo support, guess what: unsusually high volume blah blah.

Anyone ever had any joy with cancelling Duolingo, or am I doomed to subscribe till I drop?

Ease of accidental sign up and seeming impossibility of cancelling is something they should sort pronto. Seems sneaky, to put it politely.

Hi Ryanballs - yes indeed. Thank you. Yes, waiting seems to be the name of the game. I was expecting to check my account obsessively for then next days and weeks, and then ask for a refund. However, I did manage to reach Super Duolingo support, and I am told my 'trial' is now just for three days free, with no more unless I sign up. We'll see but fingers crossed.

I have suggested that there should be an easy 'undo' option for accidental sign-ups. It's far too easy to hit the wrong part of the screen, and they don't even have an 'Are you sure' screen. Let's see: if enough of us complain and they fix it. Shame, because it's a nice way to learn.
