Mail puts All my mail into the junk folder

Mail putting ALL my mail into junk folders even though junk mail filtering is turned off. This is happening in a Gmail account, Apple me.com account, and my .edu mail server.

I have turned junk mail filtering on and off several times. This makes no difference. I have rebuilt my mailboxes. I have repeatedly marked the mail as "not junk". I have shut down and restarted several times. Nothing stops placement in the junk folder.

I finally reinstalled the Ventura OS. No help.

Is it possible you have an ill-behaved rule setup that perhaps is causing all email to be placed into Junk? Even if Junk Filtering is off, if you have rules setup that are not quite designed right, could conceivably cause this.

Thank you!

I hadn’t thought of that because I didn't make any rules involving spam. However, when I installed the SpamSieve app, it created a rule.

I will add that you would expect SpamSieve plugin to automatically create a rule.

Apples Mail.app uses Junk.

For SpamSieve you need to create a Spam folder...

The SpamSieve rule should be the first rule above all others

if in doubt SpamSieve has excellent customer support
