osx install on new ssd

I have a late 2010 MacBook Pro that is currently running windows 10 but with some missing drivers. I want to put OSX 10.13.6 on the ssd. I need to make it bootable after downloading the dmg. My other Mac is an M2 and I don't think it will work to make the files bootable since the OS is too new and it's an Apple processor not intel. Ideas? I don't have the original install dvds for the MacBook Pro. The ones I do have don't work.

With machine OFF, connected to charger and Ethernet Cable to Router

Shift-Option-Command-R ( 4 Keyboard Combo ) to start up from macOS Recovery over the internet

Hopefully iy will boot and attempt to connect to the Apple Servers where a Spinning Global with load

Once or if it is successful 🤞 >>>

It will present options >> Disk Utilities >> View >> View ALL attached Drives.

4 - Choose the Upper Most Drive ( not the volumes indented and listed below ).

5 - Formatting for macOS 10.13 High Sierra and below requires HFS Journaled with the GUID Partition Map

6 - Once that is done >> backup out of Disk Utilities and choose install macOS.

7 - Follow the prompts and it may automatically reboot several time.

8 - Upon a final reboot - Setup Assist will present with the newer version of macOS.
