Navigation arrows disappeared in YouTube app

Hi, the back..pause .and next video buttons just disappeared in my YouTube app..on my Ipad. Have never seen this before. I was in the middle of a video..tapped the screen to pause..and no pause nor the back and forward buttons came up!.. nothing in fact..just the same video screen with the same video playing.. Turned off and restarted my Ipad.. the navigation buttons came back on..then disappeared a few seconds later.. I could click on other videos from the side videos on the right..they'd come up..start playing.. but no navigation arrows or pause there either. What's really funny is if it's in full screen.. theres no way to get it to go to partial screen..you can tap on the screen playing the video all you want ..nothing comes up! What happened? Ty for the assist! :-)

The forward/back arrows and stop/ go bottoms on my iPhone you tube videos or whatever have disappeared. I shut the iPhone completely down and then turn on again and it will work only for a short while and then disappear again. is this part of the duck duck go that automatically is appearing? How to fix it?

Seems to be a bug going around. I've seen.a few report on this earlier. So, report it Apple.


Report this Bug to Apple:

Do your Part: These are user-to-user forums. Apple rarely reads these forums on their own time as it is. So, provide Apple with feedback on this.  Apple wont get back to you directly, but the more they hear of this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed.

To Provide Feedback:

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: on when you noticed this to occur, and how you have troubleshot it, this far. Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed form there as necessary

Hi again! Just figured it out..well..my husband did "-) I was taking the screen too fast.. it wasn't engaging the pause/arrows layer on the screen..He touched and held it for a second or two.. and up they appeared "-) This is a case of the task too fast girl! Lol "-) "bug" fixed! Lol ! Thank you.. hope this helps someone else.. Glad to have found this forum..Love Apple..Love my Ipad <3
