When I start walking my watch asks if I want to keep the score.
When I'm on the cross trainer at the fitness centre my watch asks the same.
In those cases I tap on the screen and the watch starts counting.
When I'm swimming the watch 'sees' I'm swimming and I can tap all I want but it doesn't respond. What do I do wrong?

If the screen or your hands are wet or underwater you won't be able to interact with the touch screen on your Apple Watch. You can try drying your hands for a moment or queuing up the workout prior to starting.

It's what I suspected. Normally you get a message 'it seems you're busy this or that' and then you can decide to keep track but that's not possible with swimming. Hm. Well... thanks!
