Goodnight Scene Automation

Is there a way to add a morning alarm (eg the HomePod alarm) to the goodnight scene automation on HomeKit?

Yes but a scene is a verbal command, so if you’re already awake you don’t need an alarm in a scene. You can ask Siri on homepod “ set an alarm for 7 am (or 7 am every day)”

I use scenes as a button command - eg i press the “goodnight” scene and my lights turn off, home security system turns on, music on home pod turns off.

I’m wanting to add to this a command and get it to set my regular morning alarm for work, however I can’t seem to access alarms when in the scene edit page. It seems limited to devices, rather than typical apple commands.

although the links you sent were helpful, they did not mention setting alarms.

I can’t find what you’re asking to do. There might be a way using shortcuts.

Automations show music only now.

I just verbally ask to set an alarm daily and on evenings I don’t plan to be up at the set time, I say turn off my 7 am alarm .

You can add and edit alarms in the home app in HomePod settings, although half the time they never display but might work for you
