Help with creating a shortcut

In answering a question for DialingByName I decided to attempt to create a shortcut that would allow him to send an iMessage to multiple recipients as individual conversations rather than a group message.

I think I am close but ran into and issue with the Send Message action as I can't seem to find a way for it to receive recipients as an input. Does anyone know of a way to make this work? The below image is what I have so far.

For this to work I would need to have "Repeat Item" in the place of "Recipients" for the highlighted action but I cannot change Recipients.

Thanks.

Scott ~ You can change Recipients by a Touch & Hold and then choose Repeat Item:

And you don't need those two Set variable actions – simply use the Provided Input & Contacts parameters directly.

This was indeed a very interesting question after a very long time. I enjoyed working on it.

Here is a solution I created that works by sending individual iMessage to different iPhone users. You can tweak it as you feel.

Though this is made on iPhone 12 Pro to have a complete view of the shortcut commands I opened it on my MBP

I tested it and works fine.
