My Mac stopped syncing Photos with iCloud. It has always done it in the past. I can see them on my phone but not on my computer. Is there a setting I’m missing?

What does the status bar in Photos show (below the "All Photos" view)?

As long as your Mac is stuck on "uploading" to iCloud, it will not download new photos from your iPhone.

Try to find out, if there are items on your Mac that are "unable to upload" or "On your mac only" as described in this support document: Check the status of your library in Photos for macOS - Apple Support
