Hi, my MacBook Pro has only ever charged when I restarted the computer, but today the battery drained completely, so now I can’t restart it to get the battery working. What do I do? The usual battery-empty-icon doesn’t show up, is my MacBook possibly dead?

If your MacBook Pro has Intel processor, resetting SMC could solve your issue.
Reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support
If it doesn't help, you'd better take your MacBook Pro to your local retail AppleStore, Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Pro there.
