Folder showing up under "Volumes"

I have a copy of the folder I keep my Lightroom photos in (Working Photos) that shows up under Macintosh HD>Volumes>Working Photos. The Working Photos folder in under the Pictures folder. The one under Volumes is not up to date, none of my photos from April show up in it. Where did this come from and how do I make it go away without risking my photos?

Working Photos is 876 GB ...

I am on a Studio M1 Max with 64GB RAM and 4TB SSD (1.75 TB free space) running Ventura 13.3.1.Attached find screen shot.

Was that ever the name of a drive you used to copy the folder into your Pictures folder?

In weird circumstances, the drive can become disassociated with the mount point and turn into a folder.

You can just delete the folder.
