brand new iphone 6s wont power on

Brand new iPhone 6s... Just took out of box and will now power on for nothing... any suggestions?

iPhone 6S was discontinued 4 years ago.

That means Apple stopped making them and stopped selling them.

Your iPhone is not brand new.

If it is still in a sealed box, it’s been sitting on a shelf for at least 4 years.

yes, i understand what you are saying.... my 81 year old mom swears the iphone 6s with a white button on the bottom is th only phone she can use. I understand that it is technically not "NEW" but technically is because of the sealed box and never used before. i will just send this phone back.

As pointed out, the battery is bad by now. Lithium ion batteries don’t like being completely discharged.

Newer phone that still has a button would be the iPhone SE.
