How can I print a selected area of a spreadsheet or table?

Sounds complicated, but is actually quick and easy.


  1. Select area in table and command-c to copy.
  2. In Preview app type command-n.
  3. Print from Preview.

There might be other ways but I suspect they will all take longer than the second or so that it takes using the steps above.


Not clear what you mean by "converting back to numbers."
