Screenshot of iPhone 13 is not working

I think after system update 16, my screenshot isn’t working. The reset and AssistiveTouch also couldn’t help me. The apple center employees in my city area couldn’t help me🥸

In case you have Device Management Profile in your device, it might cause the screenshot not to work defending of the restriction set on the profile, you can check if you have Device Management Profile by going to your iPhone Settings > Genera> VPN & Device Management

There could be several reasons why you might be experiencing difficulty taking a screenshot on your iPhone. Here are a few possible causes and solutions:

  1. Check if the button combination is correct: On most iPhones, you can take a screenshot by simultaneously pressing the Home button and the Sleep/Wake (or Side) button. Make sure you're pressing both buttons at the same time. On newer iPhones without a Home button (such as the iPhone X or later models), press the Side button and the Volume Up button simultaneously.
  2. Ensure the buttons are functioning properly: Sometimes, hardware issues can prevent the buttons from working as intended. Test the Home button (or Sleep/Wake button) and the Volume Up button individually to ensure they are responsive. If you encounter any issues, you may need to contact Apple Support or visit an authorized service center for assistance.
  3. Make sure you have enough storage space: If your iPhone is running low on storage, it may affect its ability to capture and save screenshots. Try freeing up some space by deleting unnecessary files, apps, or photos. To check your storage usage, go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage. How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
  4. Restart your iPhone: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary software glitches or conflicts. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake (or Side) button along with either Volume Up or Volume Down button until the "Slide to power off" option appears. Slide to power off, wait a few seconds, then press and hold the Sleep/Wake (or Side) button again until the Apple logo appears.
    1. Restart the device. That's it.
    2. Still not solved --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
  5. Update your iPhone's software: Make sure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check for any available updates. If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to install it. There are only 2 ways to update an iOS/iPadOS. Know how to...
    1. Update Over-the-Air (OTA) —> Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support (IN)
    2. Update using iTunes/Finder —> Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support (IN)

If none of these solutions work, it may be worth contacting Apple Support or visiting an Apple Store to get further assistance with your specific device.
