I need to reset this Iphone as I had to take it back from my girlfriend
plus she refuses to give me the information so I can clear the phone

If she set up her own Apple ID and password on it, you can’t get into it without her help. Your only other option is to take it to an Apple Store along with the original receipt and they can unlock it for you.
Apple store told me only Apple Support could help me
