Why force the customer to use the "strong password" feature?

You are not addressing Apple on this website and you are not forced to use anything. You can fix it yourself by choosing Choose My Own Password.

Helping people here who picked bad passwords or have re-used passwords, and have gotten breached, is draining. Helping people that have no backups, and that have forever lost precious and irreplaceable photos and videos and memories hurts all of us, too. People that have gotten breached or their data ransomed or contacts spammed or scammed or all data just deleted and their devices permanently locked, and that then spend months or years and a whole lot of money fixing the ensuring messes, is difficult for all of us. We’re facing increasingly automated attacks, run by businesses, too. Or use string passwords and Keychain to remember those, so you don’t have to think about the passwords again… Send your password preferences feedback to Apple too, of course: Product Feedback - Apple
