My spacebar has stopped working. It does not "play" when tapped.

Make sure that in your Accessibility settings you have Full Keyboard Access turned OFF.

Test a different keyboard with your Mac.
Test that keyboard connected to another computer.
Have the keyboard tested at you local Apple Store or AASP.
best advice, thanks I've corrected this problem after 2 days of watching YouTube videos and even calling apple and being disconnected . thanks
