Cable adapter for Mac mini ports

I have a Mac mini with the M1 chip and it has two thunderbolt ports that I want to use with USB devices. I bought 2 solid metal adapters but two of them won't fit side by side. So what I need is a cable with Thunderbolt male on one side (to plug into the computer port) and a USB female receptacle on the other (to accept USB male plugs from devices such as printers, etc.).

This should be simple but I've searched around and cannot find what is needed because I may not be correctly describing what I need.

If this cable is made, then by whom? And what t should I be asking and/or searching for?

Thanks.

Thanks.

Just to bring you up-to-date and for others who may want to know:

I bought one of these: Amazon Basics USB Type-C to USB 3.1 Gen1 Female Adapter - White, Pack of 1 and it was perfect. Allowed two side-by-side (unlike the metal adapters I had so, after testing it, I bought another one. About $9 (free shipping with Prime). Problem Solved!

No. Printers and other USB devices usually connect to the computer with a USB-A (M) to USB-B (M) cable. The USB-B end at the device, the USB-A end at the computer. Replace the cable with a USB-C (M) to USB-B (M) cable, such as:

Higher speed USB 3.1 or 3.0 USB-B devices use a different USB-B plug:
