Photos

When you put photos in albums it stays in all photos library also. When this is backed up to the cloud does that use extra space due to duplicate placement?

It doesn't use duplicate space on the phone or on iCloud.

Only one photo is stored even if the photo is also in one or more albums. It is a single photo and is displayed in multiple places.
